Description
Description
Inspired by René Magritte’s painting Le Séducteur (1953), this panel captures the poetry of a sailboat blending into the sea, absorbed by the waves.
Born from the collaboration between the René Magritte Succession and Lalique, this panel in blue, satin-finished and polished crystal is crafted using the ancestral lost-wax technique. Available in a limited edition of 20 pieces, this artwork extends the questioning of the "master of images", inviting contemplation and the awakening of doubt, where each reflection promises a world to be reinvented.

The collaboration
In the light of crystal, the Magritte Succession and Lalique merge matter and mystery, gesture and enigma, bringing the works of the Surrealist master to life.
At the heart of this collection, Magritte reverses the gaze : the boundary between subject and environment disappears, the image becomes a trap, an invitation to interpretation. Visible and invisible, background and form merge in a poetic equation where meaning slips away. -

Discover
the lost-wax technique
Offering an exceptional level of detail and a refined texture, the lost-wax technique is an ancestral know-how employed by René Lalique until 1930 to create exceptional pieces.
This process involves sculpting a wax model, which is then encased in a refractory mold. During firing, the wax melts away, leaving the shape into which molten crystal is poured. Each piece is created using a unique mold that captures the finest details with remarkable precision. This craftsmanship gives every creation its distinctive character and continues to thrive within the Lalique manufacture.
