Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey and Lalique celebrate a 2021 vintage with an exceptional decanter

We are pleased to announce an exceptional collaboration between Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey and Lalique, which brings together the rich history and unique terroir of Sauternes with the exceptional artistry of Lalique crystal.

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé, is an 18-hectare vineyard located at more than 50 metres above sea level. The mosaic of terroirs gives Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey its typical characteristics that have been recognised in the world of wine for several centuries.

To pay tribute to the fabulous 2021 vintage, which has been awarded the perfect score of 100/100 by world renown wine critic James Suckling, Lalique's Artistic Director Marc Larminaux has meticulously designed a one-of-a-kind crystal carafe inspired by the shape of a wine bottle. Crafted using the press-and-blow technique, each carafe undergoes sandblasting and polishing at its center, resulting in a luxuriously smooth finish. The 2021 vintage label is engraved on the crystal, making each carafe an eternal work of art.

Limited to just 100 decanters, this collaboration celebrates the artistry and dedication behind each exceptional bottle.
